George Floyd Case: Ex-Officer Derek Chauvin sentenced to 22-1/2 years

Ex Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin didn’t get the 30 year sentence prosecutors requested after being convicted of killing George Floyd, but was sentenced to 22-1/2 years in prison today.

Chauvin is expected to appeal, but if he loses the appeal, he could be eligible for parole in 15 years.
